Our center believes in teaching children the fundamental skills and knowledge to make them successful for the future by incorporating balances of both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning, with an emphasis on responding to children's learning styles and building on their strengths and interests. We use the high quality, developmentally appropriate FunShine Express Curriculum and teacher resource.  The FunShine Express Curriculum Program integrates all aspects of early childhood and youth development.  Using research-validated strategies, this approach enhances each young person's growth in the foundations of academics as well as social, emotional, physical, and creative areas. The FunShine Express Curriculum is broken down by age groups. Buttercups for ages 0 mos. - 3 yrs., and Fireflies for ages 3 - 5 yrs.
